Butcher’s Receipts
Butchers’ Receipts:
P.L.N. “SNIT” SS26 Runway Show
[GRAPHIC DESIGN]
I selected paper I had treated with a special blend of oils. Aged over 3 years since 2022, every single crease represents a fragment of its lifetime. Using this material for the works felt like an embalmed body resurrected, a piece of meat aged or cured.
Stacked papers evoke feelings of sifting through archives, discovered relics; feeding back into the sensation of reawakening history through holding the “SNIT” runway show in an old slaughterhouse in Copenhagen’s meatpacking district.

Project Background:
The visual theme of “SNIT” was Butchery. Think meat, carcasses, slaughter. “A precise cut” aiming to disrupt and expose.
“YOU ARE NOT LIVESTOCK.
YOU ARE NOT PRODUCT.
YOU ARE NOT THEIRS.
THIS IS NOT REBELLION.
IT’S REFUSAL.
IT’S THE MOMENT YOU STOP WALKING TOWARD THE GATE.
IT’S THE SILENCE BEFORE THE STAMPEDE.”
“SNIT” poem by Peter Lundvald Nielsen.
